CAN THE NBA SEASON BE SAVED?

September 24, 2011 by Joel Huerto 1 Comment

The first significant dent to the 2011-12 NBA season was delivered Friday when the league announced that training camps have been postponed and 43 preseason games were removed from the calendar. September 15, 2011 by Joel Huerto Leave a Comment

Chris Bosh on the court is all about finesse, but the Miami Heat star rolled up his sleeves and flexed his muscles on Wednesday by responding to the verbal jabs from ESPN’s Skip Bayless. For much of last season Bayless took shots at Bosh’s “soft” game and subpar performances by calling him Bosh Spice, suggesting … [Read more…]

VIDEO: DURANT SIZZLES AT MELO’S GAME

September 1, 2011 by Joel Huerto Leave a Comment

Usually, an exhibition game in late August won’t feature a cache of NBA All-Stars in one building. But because the league is currently on lockout mode, like some online bingo games, players will run with anyone and anywhere at this point. That’s why Carmelo Anthony’s summer league game at Morgan State became a basketball mecca … [Read more…]

Where does Dennis Rodman rank among NBA’s greatest defenders?

September 1, 2011 by Joel Huerto Leave a Comment

Dennis Rodman entered the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. It’s a deserving honor considering the enormous impact Rodman has had in the sport, especially on defense where he truly (and literally) left his mark. Rodman was an absolute pest on the defensive end, hounding perimeter players and muscling post players with an all-out … [Read more…]
